Not a fan of Copaganda but honestly wasn’t a huge plot point after the setup in the beginning. Like the guys. Wish I got more development and one on one time but overall decent read

So for those that read my Knot For Me review, you know I LOVE Reagan. Loved her personality, her men, all of it, but let me tell you about WHITNEY, she's amazing and may have taken Reagan's spot.

Whitney has had a tough life, and she's doing nothing put putting bandaids on the hurt. She goes out, she parties, she does things no "perfect" omega, well any omega, should be doing. I see my younger high school/college self in Whitney a lot. There are only so many things you can do to make you forget about the past, and these are only temporary.

Trev, Asher, Hayden and Avi are perfect for her. They all have faults, but all their broken pieces fit hers. I love that even if they're the right side of the law, they do what they need to do to protect Whitney.

I have laughed, I have cried, I have laughed some more and told Rory I hated her. I love the emotions this books has brought out and the way that it is healing. I want to thank Rory for writing a book that is heavy and deals with things we don't always want to talk about and not sugar coating it.

While all the open plot threads were tied up by the end of the novel and Reagan and some of her men from [b:Knot for Me|59701243|Knot for Me (Omega Love, #1)|Rory Miles|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1642904842l/59701243._SY75_.jpg|94010550] made a short cameo, I found the FMC Whitney rather weak and the character development of all the men in her harem rather shallow. Hayden the beta definitely got most of the screen time, and we got to meet Asher's parents, but everyone else's family was barely described other than some minor mentions of sympathetic parental abuse. Even the personalities were rather wishy-washy - Asher had seemed like such a dominant alpha when he first met Whitney in the club, but it quickly changed, and he faded into the background as the story continued.

The speed of the relationship development was hard to believe. Other than some minor grumpiness from Trev, none of the other 3 men really had an issue and instantly fell in love with Whitney without much depth. The pack and mating bites were rather impetuous during a random scene and during her heat - I had expected some more serious discussions before either with the whole group before they accepted her and she accepted them. Even by the end, I don't think the men were truly aware what her triggers were and why she had them - I would have thought with a deep relationship, this would be something that would be honestly discussed.

I didn't like how Granny's legacy was spoiled with the twist at the very end - it would have been nice to have thought that Whitney had at least one person who was always in her corner throughout her life. I also found some major features in omegaverse missing, like purring and alpha barks, or at least I had thought it would play a larger role in the world. I read the first book in the series too long ago that I can't remember if those had played a significant feature in the story line.

I also had a general issue with this omegaverse world, although it seems to have been turned on its head after Reagan and her pack took over. The society of high and low packs seemed to be rather apathetic to the abuses of omegas with the auctions and slavery, and I didn't get the motivation of the evil Camila to imprison and shun naughty omegas instead of trying to sell them again to other packs. If omegas didn't have rights, why discard them instead of getting more financial benefit from enslaving them again? meh.

I'll likely continue to check out the next book in the world out of curiosity, but I'm finding the books rather mediocre so far.
