Great start to a new series. I am definitely looking forward to more from this world created. I loved the banter between these characters. I found myself falling hard for them and rooting for them throughout the story. I definitely did not want to put this story down. I can't wait to see what Sarina brings us next.

Overall one of my favorites in the series. I loved the cybercrime angle and can’t wait to read more about “The Company.” This particular pairing was really sweet and I appreciated that the FMC was the wealthier one, subverting the usual dynamic in a sports romance.

What took me so long to read this adorable book? I thought I had, so when I realized I hadn't, I was hoping this would pull me out of my audiobook slump and it did. I thought this book was the sweetest. Who doesn't love a pregnant woman and a guy who dotes on her? Well, I do. Eric and Alex melted my heart. Loved it so much.

Alexa finds out she is pregnant when she meets Eric for the first time in about 20 years and she barely recognizes him. She brushes him off then and is later embarassed when she meets him again but this time they have to work together to keep her safe.

I liked this book the most of the 3 i have read this month by this author. I loved Eric. He was so sweet and as a reader I understood his motives and his character.
It took a while for me to warm up Alexa but

I wanted more resolution

Eric and Alex are fantastic and funny. I love so much about their story and learning about their past.

My biggest complaint about this story is that there wasn’t the resolution with one of the plot points. Hopefully it will be resolved in a future book.

Sort of a combination industrial espionage thriller / hockey romance, which weirdly kind of worked. I’m always interested in the decision making and emotional processes leading to retirement for professional athletes, so I enjoyed this. Also appreciated a high powered tech CEO heroine whose earnings far outstrip her male partner’s, which isn’t a dynamic I see too often in this genre.
