I couldn't concentrate too much when I was reading it so I can't recall the events from every story, but some of them were amazingly beautiful. Even if horror is not my usual genre I really enjoyed this collection. Especially the first and the last three stories.

These stories are.. okay. "Sardonicus" is probably the best. All of the stories aside from the Bathory one seem to tie into it. Maybe it's Russell's detached style, but I didn't really engage with the stories, so i couldn't seem to be affected by their horrors.

These were fun. A great October read. Sardonicus was my favorite but I also liked Sagittarius quite a bit.
