Adorable! The artwork was STUNNING and so cute. I only wish it was longer and that the plot had a little more substance.

Such an interesting thought piece on slow living and the capitalistic drive to produce more in less time. Ponderings on outcome versus experience and value (38). Cf. Hesiod’s Theogony & Works and Days
This and Woman, Eating both talk about the concept of consumption. Consuming food is more than sustenance: you get to experience the life of the food (41).
The love and tenderness of Erik and Hese's relationship is so perfectly conveyed in just a few panels. I’m melting; it's so beautiful (47). “It was never adventure that I loved,” (47).
The aesthetic and art style is so beautiful. The change in seasons is such a nice touch. The art and color pallet changes with the pages, and it’s such a lovely touch. I think Winter is my favorite so far.
The connection between Chamomile and Greta is gorgeous. I love them being platonic friends, but I would love to see a healthy romantic relationship flourish.
“Memories don’t just live inside you, Minette. They live in all the people and objects you share your life with,” (56).
“I lost so much and was scared of losing more. I didn’t notice how many good memories I was making,” (56).
“I don’t want blacksmithing to be forgotten… Maybe one day, someone’ll think about who gave it to them or where they bought it. Or who they shared it with. Or who owned it long ago… That’s a kind of magic, isn’t it?” (58).
