It might be ok for a book form but audiobook with a narrator that uses ridiculous character voices that drive a person batty just destroys the book.

Super clunky exposition and a disappointingly generic YA protagonist, but the ideas and setting are really inventive and cool, which is what I come to fantasy for, ultimately. I'm a sucker for Christian-mythos stuff too, so I'm excited to see where this goes, while hoping we get fewer plot-dispenser characters, and have more development on-screen, as it were.

Viss jau super, kaut gan šoreiz vairāk varēja just bērnišķīgo stilu dažbrīd. Tad nu sanāk pretstats, kad dialogs aiziet par lielajiem Visuma jautājumiem, bet pieaugušie izklausās kā ļaunie no multenes.
Otrs mīnuss - beigu atainojums ar paralēlo pilsētu... Hmmm, nē, kaut kā galīgi tas nešķiet ejam krastā. Random saule un vējš no ziemeļblāzmas nokrīt. How about no.

Bet tā kā šī triloģija ir manas bērnības grends un ar neizsakāmi milzīgu nozīmi manis pašas rakstu darbu aizsākumos, tad mazāks vērtējums par maksimālo nemaz nav iespējams.
