I enjoyed this one way more than Gabriel's Inferno.

Capitulo favorito: 52

This series is so hard to put down! Very easy to get absorbed in and just bask in.

Julia and Gabriel's journey to respective redemption continues in this book. And it goes pretty far, I will say. I am eager to read the 3rd book (already on its way!), but I don't see how necessary it is, lol.

This book isn't perfect, but overall enjoyability prevails for this series for me. Julia was much more pleasant in this book, and some of the locations were really nice. Some of the book meandered though, and nothing was really a surprise or anything.

I like and sometimes dislike the writing in these books. It's so pleasant and easy to read, but then again it can get just a tiny bit boring with all the dialogue and extreme professions that are made from Julia to Gabriel and vice versa constantly. Also, I adore Gabriel, but with his flaws I sometimes want to smack Julia and tell her to try another fish in the sea before staying with him forever. But I get it, he's her Dante, and she's his Beatrice. Soul mates, yadda yadda.

I don't know if this is a true 4 stars, maybe more like 3.75 or something, but like I said, for lack of being able to put these down, I rate them probably more highly then they deserve. I eagerly await the final installment to be in my hot little hands! :)

I'm confused. On one hand I demolished this book in 4 hours. On the other hand, it wasn't as good as the first book and both of the protagonists are starting to annoy me.

Will I read the next book? Well yes, but that doesn't necessarily mean it was any good ha.

I've come to one conclusion....I would have taken any class on Dante if Professor Gabriel Emerson was teaching it.

Julia and Gabriel's relationship grows while they are in Italy. It's when they return that troubles begin. Sylvain Reynard has done a great job of weaving in some drama with our love story. The characters experience plenty of self-doubt, but it brings them both to believe in trust.

I love this book and found myself affected by it long after I finished. Gabriel has definitely become of my faves. Can't wait for the next book to come!
