Get this. And read this. You don't HAVE to read all of them if you don't want to. But try the first book at least. It would be a shame not to at least try out a series that has shaped an entire generation. I certainly enjoyed it.

Harry Potter is one of the best series that I've ever read. The characters are well developed and as the series moves forward you see them mature and deal with situations in their own way. It's good vs. evil. It's about friendship and family. It's about the struggles of being the new kid, being different, and being in school. Plus there's magic and spells :o)

Harry Potter series was and is magical. Whether it’s the first time or the 4th time (yes I’ve re-read in its entirety 4x now); there is still nothing like it. A world that can make adults nostalgic for their childhood and easily drop into this alternate universe. Books you can immensely enjoy yourself, talk about for hours with others or share with your children. This magical world is unparalleled and never gets old. — ‘
