I know it's historic but I was not expect the G slur like 100 times in the first 2 chapters. It was a lot.

I wasn't sure if I was enjoying this to begin with but luckily I had a better experience with the second half. Christie's writing is brilliant as usual and her characterisation in this is particularly good. I accidently spoiled myself for the ending and I would've enjoyed it a little more had I not known what was coming, however I could still appreciate the mastery in setting it all up.
Graphic: Death and Murder
Moderate: Racism

I don’t think I’m okay. This book is a 3 star read right up until it isn’t. HOLY COW!!!!
Graphic: Death, Racial slurs, Racism, Terminal illness, and Murder
Agatha Christie is racist specifically against Gypsies (spelt gipsy in the book) throughout the entire novel.
