I really struggled to read this one! It was much less about relationships and more about the bad god and honestly, if I ever read the words Shara fucking Isador again I might combust. It was used 12 times and every time it’s like nails on a chalkboard to me. Why do they say her name like that, who does that? Anyway, unsure if I’ll continue honestly. I might but I think I’ll take a little break.

What she takes, she loves, and what she loves, she keeps for all time. Long live House Isador!

Officially my favorite book in the series.
I'm not exactly sure how to write this review because I want to spoil nothing. This was the longest book in the series and so many, many questions were finally answered. Burkhart's writing is on of the best i have encountered, her characters, and there are many, all stand on and hold a voice of their own. They have shown growth throughout the series and with each chapter. It's hard to pick a favorite between the men in the harem because, like Shara, I loved them all. They each hold a very special place in my heart. I really didn't think I was going to feel so many emotions in this installment but, Burkhart managed to squeeze out a few tears.

This was my first Reverse Harem romance and I'm not sure there's any out there that can top this. It was a page-turner from start to finish. And it is a series I will recommend until my dying breath. So, READ THIS RIGHT FUCKING NOW.

Long live house isador.
I loved the series and can't wait for more ! Please write faster.
Hot and steamy but with a great plot. Action, suspense and all the men woo. I literally couldn't stop reading.

This is hard because I’m hooked on this series since it’s so easy to read and very addictive but honestly the major battles Shara and her Blood faced all seemed to come way to easily to her. The sense of risk of losing people has heavily diminished for me after this ending and it was even verified in the story when she even questioned herself about it since it just seemed too easy to kill a queen. I’m definitely going to finish the series, but it’ll be hard to enjoy it as much since the stakes don’t seem to match what’s being said. Additionally, idk if it’s because so many Blood have been introduced so quickly that we barely have time to feel their relationship with Shara but I don’t feel as emotionally attached to their feelings for each other. It just seems like we’re being told that they love each other rather than having the proof so when they’re at risk of being lost, I don’t feel the way I’m sure the author wants me to about what’s happening.

Call your monsters, Daughter. Love them. Embrace your darkest hungers, because your love is the light that will keep the darkness safe from the punishing light of Ra.

Love this series.  I kind of don't want it to end.  I will need to find another amazing RH vampire series after this is done.

And he took her heart to heart, so her body would know his secret name.

I did think this one was a little light on the sexy times, but still some good spice.  Well maybe light for this series, probably not for other books....lol  Lots of plot and stuff though.  And she got 2 new bloods in the book.  This book only renewed by continued love of Guillaume as my favorite blood, hands down.  But poor Nevarre still needs some more love.

I trembled. Tears choked me. I opened my mouth, but I couldn’t. I couldn’t say a single name. I wouldn’t. I wouldn’t ever choose just one of them. Not to love. Not to kill. I loved them all. I needed them all.
