Really enjoyed this read. The book overall touches on the intersection of horror and otherness and how we define this and what we fear. My favorite stories were: Idiot Girls, Waste Not, Miss Infection USA.

A double-edged sword with anthologies is that you're bound to enjoy some works more than others. There were stories was in awe of, ones I struggled to get through, and others I don't think I will remember after some time passes. My recommendation would be to leisurely chip away at Other Terrors over an extended period of time (rather than what did which was speed read the dang thing).
I did love the theme of "otherness" and how horror was utilized in approaching this theme. Though ultimately, I am still craving more queer stories, as I can never get enough of those, as well as at least one story which focused on fatness (and experiencing fatphobia) at the centre of "otherness".
