More phoenix! I wasn't quite as enamored of this one, sadly. The story is frustratingly confusing - neither the reader nor the protagonist has enough information to know what's going on much of the time, and then the missing details are info-dumped onto us after the fact. There are some interesting ideas going on here, but they are overshadowed by this poorly balanced exposition and a romance that is a bit too sappy for my tastes.
