Light, cute and mostly unserious. A nice palette cleanser after reading something heavier and less engaging.

I am so in love with the book, characters and everything
OMG Dane might seem grumpy and ruthless but he is super softie when it comes to those who he trust and especially Vienna
He is a man who is yeah manipulative but not toxic, a man true to his words and does nothing unwilling (he is by far my favorite crush)
Vienna is my gal, loved her, loved her internal voice, it is so reminded me of myself and even with her self doubt I felt it is me. She is sunshine but she had a tough childhood. She is a fierce loyal person. She is the kind of person I want as my bestie
I am no fan of first type of narration and wished I could hear Dane’s voice but thankfully the author give me that as bits and pieces of his interaction with Vienna but mostly when he talked to her and declared he wants to stay married. His marriage reception speech is to die for. Definitely would wish a love like that.

The hero of the book has the same name as my boyfriend. So that was really cool.
However, this book wasn’t a lot to write home about. I was just hoping it would be more.

This book was really hard to put down! Phenomenal plot, slow burn, twists, family drama, and a fake marriage? The whole story was excellent and the journey the MC's take and how they deal with their families is so realistic. An excellent read!

It was a romance book, funny, an easy read and basic. But there was the fact that it made me cringe with phrases like "That got me packing faster than you can say Colleen Hoover" and i think the amount of smut was unnecessary, 80% of the book was based on then fucking, and maybe is just me but reading 300 pages of that gets boring pretty fast

4.5 ⭐️ Short: I quite enjoyed the story. It's your normal "I need a wife for something, will you marry me dear associate". I also liked the face that there was actually a storyline besides just spice.
