This was the best of the series so far. Unexpected things happened. I also liked the girlfriend aspect of the story with John being unable to experience empathy and having a hard time with the concept of love. Good book.

This was a quick read…much needed after the last book I read.
I really liked just how unpredictable the story was (it truly had me guessing at where the plot was going) and how it presented such a captivating character in John Cleaver.
It was a satisfying ending to an excellent trilogy.

This installment in the Cleaver series had a mixed bag. It was the most emotional for me...and screw Wells! Seriously, why did he do that to me...

Anyways, I was sad to see how Brook moved on from John, though it was understandable. When Marci started reaching out to him, I was thoroughly confused. John doesn't seem the type that would have all the most popular girls after him. But that relationship was definately sold as it went on. And I really liked it.

The killings in the cleaver series are so brutal. The Handyman storyline is good and I thought it was the best part of this book aside from Marci. John is really struggling with himself and his family. He has a lot of internal struggles, especially with the fact that he taunted the "demon" to come here. His way of sorting out potential demons in hiding by cold calling mothers sitting at home was creepy as hell.

Where this all started to fall apart for me was the final culmination. I felt the depiction of the demon just fell flat for me. Although the events that happened during that confrontation were crazy and impactful. With this ending, this series took a whole new turn.

Highly recommended as long as you like this kind of story, which you do if you have read two of this series already.

I thought this one was quite intense, and could not put it down. Once again, I was rooting for this kid, and hoped that somehow he would manage to figure things out! Not easy to do given his crazy situation! What a fun trilogy this has been.
