it's funny and definitely great rom-com (movie) material. I devoured it in one sitting and I found it heartwarming and just really sweet. at the beginning I wasn't sure the relationship was one that could be salvaged or even one that I'd root for but I found myself hoping against all hope that they'd work out halfway through. a trope that I haven't read much of but that I enjoyed thoroughly because I found the concept very realistic. many swoon-worthy, quotable lines from redeemable characters. loved it :))

2.5

OH MY GOSH I hated these people so much in the first half of the book because WTF why are you not talking to each other??!!! If you hate being with someone so much I’m pretty sure you’re supposed to leave. The second half was pretty freaking cute though and I really liked them there so 2.5 half stars but GEEZ I seriously was not digging that first half I don’t think I would have finished this book if it was not in audiobook format.

2,5 stars but I put 2 stars because this rating needs to go down because this book was meh. I really really REALLY loved the second half and if the first had been even a little more like it I probably would’ve given this book 4 stars. I just did not and don’t think I will ever get why Naomi acted like she did and same with Nicholas it didn’t seem like something two thirty year olds would do and LITERALLY EVERY PROBLEM could have been fixed with a quick conversation (which I know I am correct about because it happened in the second half)
