I got this book a few months ago on Stuff Your Kindle Day, and was a bit skeptical about it going in. That being said, I enjoyed this book & definitely plan to read the rest of the series!

The plot was super intriguing, and I certainly have my theories about who killed Lyric’s sister. I hope that we get to dive deeper into Lyric’s backstory & hopefully seeing more from Jude & Thayer, since they weren’t super involved in this book. The writing was a bit repetitive, but I am invested at this point for sure!

Oh guys. This is gonna be a fun series. I kept seeing I was getting close to the end and kept saying NOO. I didn’t want this book to end so I can only imagine how the rest of the series is going to go. Lyric - y’all I can’t wait to see what she becomes. The guys - I’m so torn. Thayer wasn’t there much at all. Jude was…the angry one. Atlas and Keats - I’m in love but also pissed at them. So thrilled we got TWO of one of our favorite tropes(who did this to you) “what did he do to you” and “where did you go just now?”

Not the best writing, but the plot is interesting enough that I want to know where it’s going.
