All the feels!

I loved this book. So full of all the things and Evan rounds it all out with his whole heart.

Dr. Kale Bryant devotes his entire life to his work . After working in the ER for years, he is finally opening up his own practice to devote his time to sick children . That’s how he meets his new patient, Evan, + his drop dead gorgeous mother, Hope . The same Hope he had the privilege of getting to know at Ollie’s bar the pervious weekend . Caught between his desire for Hope, protecting Evan at all costs, and the trauma of his past still front + center, Kale needs to decide if they are worth all his fears .

Harley Hope Masterson is truly beautiful inside + out . After her son was born completely deaf and with a genetic heart condition, Hope had to take on the role as both parents because her husband couldn’t handle it . Staying in that terrible marriage for far too long, Hope now finds herself in a messy divorce while trying to run her coffee shop + be the best mother/caretaker for Evan . That’s why she never saw Kale coming, he stormed into her life right when she needed him most but she isn’t sure if she’ll get to keep him .

I AM ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH KALE + HOPE ! The love story between the two of them is tragically beautiful . While both trying to run from their past, they never saw that they were running towards each other all along . Their instant chemistry together + complete understanding that Evan’s needs will always be put first completely undid me . Not to mention that Dr. Bryant has one filthy + delicious mouth .

I don’t know how A.L. Jackson constantly outdoes herself but she always amazes me with how good her books are . This is the second book in the Fight For Me series but can be read as a stand-alone . I do recommend reading the series in order because you understand the friend group + dynamics more . I am already starting book three because I need to know what is going to happen with Ollie + Nikki !

A great read. I wasn’t expecting the level of emotion this book brought out. In “Show Me the Way” Kale was the rock of the group. He showed up when Ollie or Rex needed him and seemed to hold them together. I never would have guessed the turmoil he was hiding.

Kale was floating through life, thinking all he needed was his job and his friends to keep him satisfied. Then he met Hope. Hope definitely sent his world off kilter. They had an immediate attraction but were both battling demons and didn’t want any more “complications”. They finally had one date, but neither could predict their next meeting.

Hope was just trying to survive and save her son. So when the man she’s been falling for turns out to be her son’s new doctor, she finds herself in a whole new situation. Hope and Evan are exactly what Kale didn’t know he needed. Evan brings up a whole lot of emotions in Kale that he would rather not face, but his love for both Hope and Evan are too strong for him to resist.

This book was a little frustrating at times. There was a point where I just wanted to know all the secrets that were holding Kale and Hope back. When everything was revealed it was pretty intense. There was a lot of lead up and it was definitely worth it. I loved the way everything came together at the end. I was really routing for Kale and Hope and Evan throughout the whole book.

Still Swooning hard!
That is the theme of this book to me when I read it.
I was instantly in love with Kale and his love for his job.
Hope is a strong woman who when she meets Kale, she has an instant attraction that they both can't seem to fight.
A well rounded story of two tortured pasts that come together and help each other learn what it is like to be in love again.
Loved how much emotion poured off the pages as I read.
As I said, in the beginning, you will be swooning soo much from Kale's actions and words.
Plenty of romance, sexy times and twists that kept my cherries afloat as well as bursting with excitement.

I think this was more a "me" thing than it was "book" thing. I didn't have the patience for ultimate, extra fromage.... yes I said cheese in its French word because this book was so cheesy it required it.

The kid was cute. Uhhhhh I feel like the H had potential and the h was extremely sweet. But this book had Insta-feelings that wasn't quite Insta-love but it was almost there.

Yeah, this was not a sell with me and it had all the right ingredients to do so.

Kale is a spineless idiot.

This was not fulfilling and he’s a coward.

Hope and Evan deserved better.

I am really enjoying this series! This book about Kale and Hope brings two people battling demons from their pasts together when they least expect it. I loved both of their stories and I always enjoy when they add kids in and just like in the first book, this book had Evan who was a wonderfully addition. Looking forward to going back to Gingham Lakes for the next book in the series. I hope there is even more of the group together then there was in this story.
