Son sayfalarda gözümden bir damla yaş düştü... Sessiz bir kitap nasıl bu kadar beni duygulandırdı anlamış değilim.

I am a sucker for wordless picture books. This one was sweet, and did not need words- basically addressed bullying and the power of small acts.

A wordless book about how to stand up for others. I loved the wordless aspect, since it requires the reader to narrate the scenes on their own. As a parent reading to my kids, it makes it almost impossible to NOT talk about the bigger issues at hand.

The only thing I didn't care for is the marketing/after matter that implies that this is a book about bullying. Unquestionably, one child is incredibly mean to another. But as this article mentions, all mean behaviors are not the same (https://www.huffingtonpost.com/signe-whitson/bullying_b_2188819.html). Regardless of the level of rudeness, meanness, or bullying behavior, the response of the bystander is lovely and kind and a really nice depiction of how someone can react when faced with any kind of antagonistic schoolmate.

Wordless picture book about how a small act of kindness can lead to multiple acts of kindness. Awesome talking points at the end of the book. Would pair well with Each Kindness and Be Kind.

Wordless picture book about a new girl, Vanessa, who, while walking home after her first day, becomes the victim of a mean kid. Another girl observes the interaction and goes to her house the next day to walk to school with her. Several other children join them, and eventually an enormous crowd, with Vanessa and the ally in front, enters the school. Great catalyst for talking about being an ally or a bystander, how kindness multiplies, and bullying v. meanness.

Wordless, could use in a classroom to discuss illustrations and make up our own possible dialogue. Also could be used to discuss bullying and solidarity

Wordless book about kindness. Great conversation starter and how to help a friend who is in need.
