I felt so attached to the characters, both Bree and Archer, and they’re bond was so authentic and pure. It brought me to tears reading about the things they have each gone through, and imagining anything other than happiness being brought to these two precious characters made my heart ache. They are so perfectly meant for each other, and it was clear from the very moment Bree made an effort to befriend Archer, the silent “loner” of small town Pelion.

Everything about this book, all of the emotional ups and downs, the action, the romance and spice, and the genuine love Bree and Archer felt for each other, was incredible. Such a beautiful, honest love story and easily a 5-star read for me. We must protect Archer and Bree AT ALL COSTS.

3.5⭐️

I think I have high expectations for this book thus the 3.5-rating. But I still liked it enough! I also loved how it made me want to learn sign language (I can only do the ASL alphabet and usually use it for when my partner and I are in the same room but far away from each other HEHE).

This is a sweet and emotional ride but I feel like something is missing or maybe it's just me and how I'm not a fan of insta-love that much (or because I feel odd lately). Anyway, I do understand the hype. Oh! I loved how Archer and Bree healed each other. Also the epilogue is so cute! And I liked Travis' redemption arc. I kind of expected him to be so mean in the end or be a part of the conflict or something. I wasn't expecting what he did and I think that's where my 0.5-star came from lol.
