A fun exploration of growing up asexual when you don't know what that is. It's a good memoir, nicely capturing the feeling of growing up and how it feels when the people around you don't understand how to relate to you. Glad to buy it.

Overall, I did enjoy this. And I'm glad there's another book about being asexual out in the world. There were some areas that the information was presented in a confusing way. More thoughts to come.
CWs: Acephobia/acemisia, arophobia/aromisia, alcohol consumption, gaslighting (from a psychologist), mental illness (anxiety & OCD), panic attacks/disorders.

I really enjoyed this book (as an ace person) but also as someone who is interested in hearing about other peoples' experiences with love and romance. the author had a super interesting story that was explored very well through colorful and well-designed art. i loved the way she used definitions, real-life experiences (of herself and others), as well as examples of how ace people can live in happy, committed relationships (or not) and be content with their lives. i loved the inclusivity of this and the way she used her past experiences to cover all of these topics. the only reason i docked stars was because sometimes the art style regarding the boxes and movement of the comic was difficult to read. on different pages, you would have to read the same format in different ways which was confusing to me. the storyline also jumped around a little bit, like when she writes that she and her uni friend are in a relationship before she talks about how they got into said relationship . it was just a little bit confusing for me. but overall, i loved this book; i thought the art style was great, the content well-written, and the point easy to understand.
