C. Rochelle has done it again! She's made me blush- repeatedly- while binge reading another of her books! While Leia and Iola are both monster loving, boss beeches, the dynamics they bring to their monster harems couldn't be more different. Iola has total mommy energy and there were several points while reading that I wanted to drop to my knees in submission to her. The way she fits in with Jor, Fen, and Surt was so well played out. I'm totally jelly and need my own monster harem now.

While Fen is totally my usual type (it's the nerdy vibe) Jor easily won my heart from the very first meeting. If you enjoyed C's book Gentlemen Prefer Villains but want a more subby good boy, Jor will check ALL of your boxes!

The story was high spice, but it also had a really great plot. We tackled some heavy emotional obstacles for each of the main characters while also being introduced to new characters and being immersed in some author-creative Norse lore. It was epic, action packed, and have I mentioned spicy? The filthy mouths on these four- you don't want to miss it!
