I quite liked it. It felt like an extension of the books - not written in jarringly modern way and look forward to more of the author's short stories.

Honestly thought it was going to be longer but it was a cute short read.

Satisfying

I like this short story. The tone and language were almost the same as Austen's. There was a modern touch to the language as the expressions were not long winded. I felt like I was in the same world as Pride and Prejudice. I like the ending.

Lovely, quick read. Nothing unexpected. Standard Jane Austen fan fiction

A short story set a couple of years after the Darcys have married and their first child is about to be born.
A very quick read but enjoyable.

This was a nice quick read, but it didn't feel like an actual short story. It was more like a scene from a larger work, which means that we lost the context that more time with the characters would have brought, and we gained only the shorter read time. There was no conflict--only introspection. Well written, but I would have felt cheated if it hadn't been free.

This short story was such a lovely surprise to me! I adore Pride and Prejudice but at times I liked to wonder what happened to the characters after their story ended, and this little short piece provided me a glimpse into it :)

It follows Lizzy and Darcy four years after their marriage, as they're expecting their first child. I thought that the author did justice to the original characters and kept their personalities very much intact. It was a sweet and warm story, that made me smile throughout and I'm surely going to check out other P&P inspired stories by Jane Grix.

I definitely recommend it to all lovers of Jane Austen! :)
