I enjoyed the sparse, minimal prose of this book - it really puts the focus on the gorgeous illustrations. Beautiful watercolors and shapes, great flow - the movement of the drawings draws the reader along the story. The premise of the book - starting small (a little panda) and slowly panning out to the Earth - is a great introduction to the concept of relative size and wider world awareness. Also, the little round panda is very, very cute.
