this book was funny and engaging from start to finish. the pov of Alex was a delightful mix of witty and sarcastic. all of the characters were so enjoyable to rid. a really hopeful take on our current political climate in the us, but it’s good to have a goal to reach for, isn’t it!

One of the better romance novels I've read! I found the characters lovable and their lives as political and public figures believable. I also appreciated McQuiston's seamless incorporation of queer history.

I like the concept of a romance between the prince of England and the fist son of USA. I also liked that they were “enemies to lovers” but
I do think that the love story happens to fast especially with it being a queer love story. I bother loved and hated it when Henry kissed Alex the first time, it didn’t feel real but I wanted it to be real. The end was hard for me to read, I don’t know why but it felt like it would never end. (And I wanted it to end).
I’m happy I read this book and it was good just not a favorite, but I still think it were nice to read! I was also not ready for the
*spice*
, but that was fun hahah :D

Took me 11 hours and 50 minutes to read.

Red, White, and Royal Blue is one of the best books I've read recently. It was joyful and funny while also managing to be emotional and tense. I would recommend this book to anyone I know, though a word of warning: this is not a young adult book, so be prepared for some not young adult scenes. I loved them, but the cover and story might not convey that if you don't do your research. As the author states in the acknowledgements, this book is meant to be an escape to another world that could have been to give you hope for what could be one day for the real world too. I wholeheartedly felt that, and I hope you enjoy the story just as much as I did.
