One of the better romance novels I've read! I found the characters lovable and their lives as political and public figures believable. I also appreciated McQuiston's seamless incorporation of queer history.

It's a good book and I'd definitely recommend it if you're into romance. I'm just not into romance, unfortunately.

Oh my goodness, I loved this book so much. I'd forgotten how much I like the enemies to lovers trope! Alex and Henry are such great characters, I'm genuinely in love with them as a couple.

There was a lot of hype surrounding this book and I can tell you that it is worth the hype!

If you're asexual, like me, you might like to know upfront that this book has a lottt of sexual scenes. Was not prepared for that to be honest, I'm curious how they're gonna do that with the movie adaptation lol!

It's not revolutionary, but it's very heartwarming. You grow to like the characters with time and cheer for them.

As someone with more left/radical politics, I got annoyed often on how liberal this book was, although that isn't really relevant to the plot.

I liked it. For me it was a bit to much about politics. But the scences between Henry and Alex were great.
