How can you keep me engaged in a book? Have Jeanne St James write it. There is something about her writing style that I absolutely love. It keeps me coming back for more. This series has been a fantastic ride, and this final chapter in the series is amazing. Damon, a pilot spots the feisty red head, Mack on a his flight, but it's not the first time he has seen her. What a story that turns into! The attraction is mutual and he has finally found the spark he has been looking for. Trevor, his ex-boyfriend is back and after his own battles would like to try again. Now decisions are made, attractions palpable and lives melded together in a way that is caring and sensual. I can't say enough good things about St James in her ability to write a story. She can take a sensitive topic, like mental health and carefully weave it into her books. Not only do we get this trio learning their way together, but real life issues involved that also need tending and nurturing. I love this as it gives such a basis of authenticity to the developing relationships. Add in getting to see all of the past characters with their families and enjoy learning where they are now it's just a treat! I have really enjoyed getting to know them all!

As always, St James is careful with her choices of narrating teams, and picks the best voices for her books. This team is amazing. Sean Crisden, Ava Lucas and JF Harding know how to filter down onto their characters and find the essence of their personalities. It's an incredible listen.

Just when Damon decides to try to find love again with a beautiful woman, Trevor, a lover from the past comes back into his life a throws a wrench into his plans. But when Trevor and Mac become close can a triad be formed and can love blossom? This was an emotionally driven story that is all about figuring out a path that works. The love all three of them displayed never once faltered as they work together to make the triad a success. I loved that former characters also had minor roles into helping Damon, Mac and Trevor find their way. Another fantastic and heart warming book in the series. Once again Jeanne St. James does not disappoint.

Overall it was fine. There were some iffy moments but then again I wasn't really looking for quality. I listened to it on audio and the guy doing Damon's voice sounded like a fantasy narrator at times which made the spicy scenes super funny to me for no reason Imao. I would say I got what I was looking for, which was a fun break from my heavier books and just something relatively light that I could listen to while doing stuff around the house.

I liked Damon and MacKenzie immediately in this MMF story. It took me more than half the book to like Trevor. I felt bad for him and his issues but it took me awhile to see him as a good fit for Damon and MacKenzie. I really liked MacKenzie’s friend Gia. Gia is a hoot.

I wish there had been more background information about MacKenzie and Damon such as what their childhoods were like and how were family members going to react to this relationship. Damon has what appears to be a family photo in his living room but it is not explained.

The way the story ends is sweet and romantic.
