The Terrortome is a Tome filled with Terror, by esteemed dark dreamweaver Garth Marenghi.
An incredibly funny book to the point of perhaps exhaustion. A book best enjoyed paced out evenly to properly appreciate the sheer amount of parodical prose put down within its pages, but one that's no less rewarding.

Blood? Blood. Crimson copper smelling blood. His Blood. Blood. Blood. Blood... and bits of sick.
When horror writer Nick Steen gets ahold of a cursed typewriter, he makes a deal with a demonic entity called Type-Face, who gives him hellish visons for his books. Unfortunately, The visons escape his mind and run havoc though the town of Stratford.
This is a fantastic parody of the worst tropes of Stephen King and Clive Barker.
One of the funniest and weirdest books I've read.
I had to cover my mouth multiple times, while riding on the train, to hold my laughter in.

I didn’t know what I was getting into when I picked it up. It’s had me chuckle out loud a few times while reading it, but it’s just not what I’m looking for right now. I’ll probably come back to this at another time.

Best listened to on audiobook for the full Marenghi experience. I bought a book so I could get it signed but it’s the voice that makes it. A very silly and enjoyable book, just what Darkplace fans will expect. The content probably could have been a podcast, but that wouldn’t be very on brand. I can’t give it 5 stars as it’s not my favourite book ever, but it succeeds at what it sets out to do wonderfully.
