This book started off slowly. I tore through the first one in less than a week and this one took me three months. But then, about halfway through, it got so good and I couldn’t put it down.

Another excellent piece to the Outlander series! The books are so exciting and you never know what is going to happen. While they are quite long, they go by in a breeze and I really enjoy learning about all the history of Scotland through this story.

This is the second book in the series and for some reason while reading this book I had put it down near the end. Must have needed a break from it. I've since decided I wanted to finish it as well as the series.

I don't know how she makes such a boring part of history seem so interesting
