I don't usually enjoy politics books, but this was done at a slower pace and ivestigated the idea's of those who came before us. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would and I learnt alot

I found this book hard to read. Some of his writing was quite dense, and his two chapters that looked at women were very surface level compared to the others.

Super interesting perspective on the Hobbesian and how intellectual history evolved with some important authors but language/style is a bit simplistic.
