I am SO glad I found this series. It was intriguing and wonderful. I've never read anything like it and I'm so glad I found it. I would consider a mixture between criminals and Harry Potter. Even that comparison doesn't do it justice. Just read it, you'll understand. It was phenomenal.

Ok Mark literally writing this shit like a shounen manga atp🤣🤣🤣 it’s just the same plot over and over and over again.

This book was lacking something the other books had. I did not like it as much. Still liked the characters, but their was something missing.

Look, this was high-stakes and adventurous, I liked how the relationships between characters became more defined, and I do like the larger GLOVE vs. Disciples plot line, but this is getting knocked down a full star for
killing off Lucy as easy character development for a mediocre boy and resolving the love triangle in Laura's favor... like it was actually really interesting how Laura and Otto bonded over a more innocent and sincere love of computers and tech but Lucy and Otto bonded over the shared trauma of being born into potentially evil or corruptible capacities you're not sure you actually want, and for Lucy's actually complex character and arc to be killed off in service of the main character's self-growth and virtually nothing else! The misogyny! Ugh!

Book 6 in the HIVE series - and it's not the last one. Lots of action and adventure. Some good plot twists - but I feel like all these books are very similar. Similar outline, similar problems, similar solutions...
