Average at best. Wasn't a fan of the writing, felt  surface level  while trying too hard. Stuck it out because I wanted it to get better but it didn't. I liked the premise.
Fmc is strong and independent but must be dominated by a strong man

It was alright. I enjoyed it enough to finish but not enough to continue with the next book. I just found it to be odd, it's called Vampires Kiss and yet the love interests were only seen like 4 times... and yet they all over each other. I just found it odd and fast.

I honestly picked this book up expecting it to be all smug and not content but I got the opposite and actually enjoyed it. The spicy parts were spicy and the plot itself was so good!

This is an exciting stories that is interesting and intriguing throughout the story. This is well written and very entertaining. This is a gripping and thrilling start to a new series. I really enjoyed this combination of the mafia, paranormal, and RH.

Lots of thoughts here

Alrighty folks so here it is:
I have some conflicting thoughts about this book.
Pros-The concept is a really good one. There weren’t many errors and I enjoyed the characters and the story line. my favorite part of this book was the last 5 pages (which ends on a small cliffhanger FYI)
Cons- My problem with it is that it comes off a bit disconnected. It doesn’t quite flow as smoothly as it could in my opinion. The first 50% of the book (Litteraly) is a set up for what’s to come but it doesn’t involve the main male characters at all. There was one meet up between 1/4 main males and our female lead and his name was never said nor did we know who it was at that point. I struggled with this because as they introduced the other 3/4 of the men later on, they have a total of one meeting where only one other says actually words to here before the second meeting where the decided she was going to be theirs and all of them were committed to her... like ??? mhmm come again? As mentioned above the last five pages were the best part and well written.... until you get to the last two sentences which feels like a bit of a rushed ending. I mean if they’d taken the time to just write a handful of more sentences than it would have been a different story. And finally there was a discrepancy a few times when there was time jump and the amount of time constantly changed from 8 months to 8 years which was a bit annoying.
All in all I’m still intrigued so I’m going to read the next book but if it’s more of how this was written I’m not sure if I’ll stick around for the rest of the series.

It’s funny what preconceived ideas you have about what paranormal races should be like. For me vampires should either be reserved and sensual or a little bit off the wall crazy and for that I solely blame Buffy, my first experience of vampires, and my epic love of Angel and Spike. Vampire’s Kiss brings some amazingly written vampires straight to your kindle with their sensual, steamy characters jumping straight off the pages. This is a reverse harem and all I can say is I am glad I don’t have to choose.

Atlas Rose aka Kim Faulks has created an interesting and intriguing world in this novel, almost giving it a noir vibe. It is set in Crown City where one side of the river is controlled by the human mafia led by the Costello family and the other by the supernatural races of the vampires, wolves and fae. This is the story of Ruth, the daughter of the human mafia don and her fight to gain and maintain power in a man’s world. Ruth is surrounded by people who will betray her in the human world and yet she is drawn to those that exist on the other side of the city. I loved the world building in this book, with the author creating a visual playground for the characters that differs from the norm. The characters drew me in and I cannot wait to get to know more about Elithien and his trio of brothers’ history as I am sure it is both intense and juicy.

Vampire’s Kiss is a slow burn reverse harem romance, filled with suspense, drama and angst. I ends on a cliffhanger so be warned.
