Not my favourite of Neil Gaiman, but still a good book with an interesting story and good writing. It gave me the creeps sometimes, especially with the drawings before each chapter.

Great children’s book with deeper meaning behind every character for the older audience. It is a nice horror book for younglings, the first one that introduced me to this genre and eventually made me love Stephen King. Rereading it was just a dive into my own childhood. A great book to introduce the horror genre to your kids.

Clean and efficient writing, it really is a book for all ages. The style is minimalistic which I really enjoy because sometimes it takes me three tries to understand one long sentence and is don’t have to do that at all.
It really grabs on to one of my more primal fears, the isolation, the almost kidnapping aspects of it all. In that way, it’s similar to The Handmaid’s Tale (though that one really freaks me out)
Fear wise, better than Stephen King’s Cujo or IT.
