Wholesome in its own little way and funny when the intent is so pure but then it’s goes into comedic chaos.

Love the short story vibes and some of the characters are hilarious.

I watched the first couple of episodes of the anime a few years ago, and this is basically the same. Both are enjoyable, snippets that subvert expectations, even when we start to expect the subversion. I might continue, but I think this is a good series to read in ones and twos and not a binge situation.

I like the art and it’s a cute premise. I get why it’s hyped up and will likely slowly collect the entirety of the series. If for no other reason than to feel like belong w the masses

I really enjoyed this book, but there were some serious second hand embarrassment moments so it lost a star for that

I can't wait to see how Tacchan and Big Boss met

I am VERY excited to see where this story goes from here. Specifically, I want to see more of his relationship with his wife (how the heck did they meet???) and his cat!

I liked that this story does not immediately go to the beginning and how the main character left the Yakuza, but rather focuses on their new 'way of life.' Snippets of his past due come up to haunt him in the form of former enemies, but even then he is able to push them aside and sometimes get them to see a softer side of themselves.

Overall, a hilarious and cute story. It is easy to see how this will be translated into an animated or live-action adaptation.
