This was a cute, fun and easy read. May continue on with this series to read before bed, because it’s engaging enough to distract my brain and not too fast-paced to rile up my brain before I go to sleep.

Short funny stories about a man who gave up being a Yakuza (or member of a gang - think the Mafia but Japanese) to become a househusband.
Stories don't say anything in particular, but the main message is "don't judge a book by it's cover". Tatsu is very passionate about what he does now, even if it doesn't look like that's what he's doing.

I watched the first season of this on Netflix and instantly fell in love with the characters. I was worried that I might not enjoy the manga as much but I was laughing just as hard as when I watched it. I think focuses on a “scary” guy just trying to be a good significant other to his wife and take care of the house so she can focus on work is such a fun twist on a contemporary story. Definitely will be continuing with this.

I love the short stories that each chapter provides. Just snippets of domestic stuff mixed with dry humour. Certain chapters really made me laugh. It would be like if John Wick switched to being a stay at home househusband, then again I haven’t seen John Wick.
