What a really great read, loved this story. Just love the stories Lauren Landish and Willow Winters are coming up with together.
This book had a great story line and a HEA which made me so happy. Liam and Elizabeth (Lizzie/Elle) connection started at her step fathers funeral and although she fought her feelings Liam was a real strong Alpha male that gets what he wants. I was on the edge of my seat sometimes and biting my nails but I couldn't put the book down until it ended.

I really tried but I just couldn't get into this and at the end I was still waiting for the story and the romance to kick in. The female lead was too weak in my opinion and it didn't feel like the relationship built at all.

At first, I didn’t like either of the main characters. Lizzie was too angry and hateful. Granted, she just lost her father, so it makes sense. Then there’s Liam who is way too controlling. I wanted to knee him in the goods for grabbing Lizzie. I guess she wasn’t really upset by it, but they were still strangers at that point and that kind of macho display is so not okay. Truthfully, I didn’t really come around until the end. After Lizzie throws her fit and later talks to Zach, she finally got her head on straight. The way both of them were willing to put themselves in danger for the other won me over big time. I still don’t much care for either of them, but I can appreciate how truly in love they are. And it was a fun and suspenseful journey. And, oh man, do I really want some of Nat’s cookies right now!

This book was really good. Liam was a good swoon-worthy bad boy and I really liked that he didn't put up with Elle giving him a hard time. Elle was an okay character but at times I found her quite whiny. I did like the pairing between the two though.

To be honest I was a little nervous when I started reading this book. I didn’t really like Luke. He’s a little bit too cocky for me and Elizabeth seemed so whiny even though she was going through very painful things. But after, I would say 25% in, their story and chemistry really pulled me in. I was totally intrigued and had to figure out what was going on with these two.
