Loved this book! Couldn’t put it down. The storyline was moving and I always love a strong female character / forbidden love mix. I also thought it was written very well - the words flowed smoothly and the plot was a good pace. Enjoyed every minute.

**SPOILER ALERT**

this book was the first book I have ever taken a highlighter out and annotated. I really enjoyed this book and it has stuck with me for at least a week of thinking about it. The part where EH killed Moniques dad SHOCKED ME... i was not expecting that to be the twist. id love to see another book following that twist more

I still think about this book a year and a half later so clearly it deserves its 5 stars.

I listened to this audio book at work after listening to a Stephanie Soo BAM. I silently cried at my desk twice.
