This book needed a Trigger Warning. There's a Miscarriage in this book and it's not an easy one at all. Besides that, it was a good book... I just felt a little blindsided by the whole event and figure other people will as well, which is why I'm not hiding behind a spoiler tag. Sorry, not sorry.

This series keeps getting better and better. Every single one of these characters and the MC feel like a part of my family. Only, they are better than family because I actually like them all.

If been waiting to see Jayde and Linc come to fruition. I can honestly day it was worth the wait. This author is one of my favorites for a reason and that's because she entwined every standalone into a perfect tapestry of stories.

Can't wait for Crow and to get all my questions answered.

I don't know how Jeanne St James does it, but every time I listen to one of her DAMC books, I think this is my favorite. Well, this one IS my favorite. Maybe because it includes so many of the characters from the series. Maybe because I have a soft spot for babies. Maybe because Jayde is such a strong, smart woman. Maybe because Linc is a tough yet passionate man. I just can't put my finger on it, but as I listened to this book, and became involved in the story, I fell for every part. There is a flow to this one that really enraptured me, held me hostage as I listened, made me feel longing, hurt, pain, grief and love. St James gives it her all every time, but this one, yes, this one is the best!

Now with this book, the narration had to be perfect, and the choice of JF Harding and Ava Lucas could not have been more spot on. JF Harding has a way of narrating can give his character that edge, the one that makes him seem aloof, yet you can feel his passion underneath his exterior. Ava Lucas encompasses her characters and I feel her meld with the person as she reads from her heart. And together, they bring Linc and Jayde to life. I loved it!

You will never convince me Jayde's little surprise wasn't intentional, nor would I have forgiven Mitch that easily. I guess this proves the theory, "all's well that ends well."

This book is so much more than a MC typical book. I mean yes, you have the alpha male, the motorcycle, the horrendous vocabulary, but this book had so much more. From the opening words that a man never wants to hear after a one night stand, to the very last sentence on the last page this book was a masterpiece. Emotional and beautifully written this is by far the best book in the series. Linc and Jayde have to go through hell and back but it is what they mean to each other and what they have to overcome that makes them one of the strongest duos in the entire MC. Bravo Jeanne St. James!! Bravo!!

As always amazing. I love the down and dirty boys. Linc is amazing just something about him. I loved this storyline. Someone that he has wanted forever comes to him after one night with a huge surprise. He does not take it well at all. But soon realizes it is exactly what he needs in his life. But then something sad and tragic happens.I was on the edge of my seat. In tears and ready to throw my kindle. Heart wrenching moments you don't see coming. Loved every page of this page turner. This series only keeps getting better and better. Hoping for more.
