About a third of the way into this book the story started to drag. I had a hard time getting into it again until after half way through. It was disappointing considering how excited I was for Elizabeth and Edward’s story after having it teased in previous books. Hopefully this is just a one off, as I’ve enjoyed so many books by this author before.

Could not finish.

Got 80 pages in and had to DNF. This was an instant love trope on crack. I mean the main male character gets rejected as a suitor for the woman he instantly fell for, so he chases her, finds her after her carriage accident, she appears to have a concussion... so what does he do? Convinces her to marry him on the spot in a shotgun handfasting ceremony. Huh? I can't. Had to stop reading.

These two certainly are randy. Masturbation and sex take up much of the novella. Questions that are raised by what little plot there is are never answered. If you are looking for a raunchy read, this one works well; otherwise, I would look elsewhere.

A nice book. Surprising amount of plot, though I could have guessed there would be a lot of court intrigue. The couple are cute together, even if they fell for each other quick. They both have good qualities that are obvious to the other.

Poorly written (amateurish and filled with typos), very rushed, and ultimately unsatisfying. It was a decent idea for a story, it just needed more fleshing out.
