Pretty average thriller. It was honestly pretty decent for the first 70% of it, but the ending felt extremely rushed. The dual timeline was fine, since one of the timelines did not end abruptly. I actually can’t believe the last 25 pages were thrown together like that, no absolution for the FMC, even when every plot point makes it seem like that is in the cards. The way this book ends really had me thinking, “couldn’t be me.”
