This was amazing. I want more Felix Love in my life. I can’t even imagine how I would react if I read this back in high school. I love how they didn’t go with the angry mean lesbian trope. I love Felix and Ez’s friendship. Felix and his father, my heart. Too precious!

I give it 4.5 stars. I really enjoyed the story of Felix Love but I couldn’t stand Felix at times. That could be because he’s a seventeen year old of naïveté, oblivious and creation of imaginary words made up in his minds of how he thinks other people feel towards him. Also, I wanted more from his father with the ending but it was really centered around Felix finding love. Overall, a very easy read and I love that it’s setting is in NYC (my hometown)

The language at the beginning of this book almost made me put it down. So happy that I pushed through. This was my second book by this author, and I plan to check out some of the others.
