This book starts off strong, teaching programming concepts, then goes off into planning a project and distribution. If the reader has picked up this book for basic programming - a true beginner - how are they going to need to know how to release a commercial program if they don't have programming itself mastered? There was one chapter of JavaScript, a brief chapter on VBScript, and a couple of chapters on C++, which called for the use of an installer by Borland that you have to search the Web for as the original site no longer has it.
