Things heat up for Carlotta in this fun book. This series is similar to the Stephanie Plum series... except we have a love square instead of a love triangle.

So I was super negative about the last book and I still stand by that but I’m running out of books in the romance Package so I moved to the second book.... it was better.. still not good but better

Cute in a Sephanie Plum way, although no cars blow up and the man characters weren't as yummy sounding. I didn't think this character was quite as sympthatic either but she is a disaster magnet which made for some funny moments.

This is a fun series, and I'm really starting to connect with the characters and care about them. She uses a lot of the same phrases over and over again though. This one picked up right where the first one left off. There were some sexier moments in this book. Wesley gets into a lot of trouble, as usual. Carlotta has a lot to think about, that's for sure! It also had a Stephanie Plum moment at the Elton John concert. Too funny!

I liked the first one better, but it is still a great read. Funny, heart-warming, sexy, and a good mystery.
