Ah, the YA fantasy where the 'love' interest/stalker is called Damen (who wears all black everything, of course), and the main character is an outcast, moody bitch who is a completely clueless idiot with a stupid name.

Ok, this was a great idea, and a great book for the first book of the series, but I feel that this book takes waay too long to get to everything in the book. It just feels that the Author is just making it that way so theres enough pages so its not a childs picture book. Although I was attracted to the cover, it doesn't make the book better. Sorry, I've read books that I couldn't put it down a second! I'd be forced to get car sick so I could read books, but this is just not one of them.

In all honesty, the book was okay. The ending was a trip though.

I couldn't put it down. It is a fun, quick read and has a decent amount of mystery and suspense. I've already put in the request for book 2 at my library, and I believe it is a 4-book series. I'd recommend this to Twilight fans looking for something without vampires and werewolves.
