This book is gross 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

I am not easily deterred by book content but this one was one of them.

Can't say why without spoiling it though.

This book absolutely needs a trigger warning I really really enjoyed it until the end and it was kind of gross. Actually it was a lot gross but the problem is the trigger warning could possibly give away the ending to this book which was a super big twist so I'm torn which is why I got three stars.

The more I thought about this book the more annoyed I got because it wasted so much of my time...changed rating to 1 star

This is my fourth Alice Feeny book and although I haven't read all of her books I have noticed that Alice really loves using past and present perspectives to relay her thriller. Nothing wrong with that, it's just something I picked up while reading.

I don't know why, but for some reason, I was really feeling her writing in this book. There are some relatable quotes in there. While the pacing was slow, for some reason that didn't bother me like it would in other thriller books. The twist was shocking (I only guessed a part of it a chapter before) and very repugnant as well. After I finished the book I was rendered speechless.
