“No single example of sexism automatically gives rise to a specific incident of misogynistic violence, the picture is far more complex than that. But when you step back and join the dots between each of the different examples outlined in this book, it is very hard to deny that the bigger picture reveals systemic and widespread inequality”

Informative articles, and almost too frustrating to read at times because of their accurate portrayal of the unfortunate misogynistic incidents on the daily.
I think some articles could have been omitted as they contained the same statistics and stories from previous ones. It would have been better if the author were to write more essays concerning this book only and not only the two included. My favorite parts were always the ones including stories sent in from the Everyday Sexism project.

Overall, it was interesting to read, and whilst most of the articles had been disheartening, it was also great to see positive messaging and brave stories told through the pages.
