Can't figure out how this book could be so uninteresting and the tv series so great, I guess the writers and actors are gods because Bushnell really had a great concept but was a bad writer.

It’s a silly goofy read if you’ve seen the show but it’s really not silly goofy at all. Just rich manhannite probs

I have seen The show before reading this. The book is actually very different, Carrie and Mr. Bigs relationship is way more toxic here. This is more fast paced and chaotic and all over the place. very intriguing and attention-catching. The show is much better than The book But this was a Fun read.

This was... way different from the TV show we all know and love. At once less endearing and more honest. Bonus point for the audiobook being read by Cynthia Nixon, that definitely played a big part in my enjoyment.
