This was really fun… I fear I need to get all of the other volumes now.

it’s funny, but that’s really it. there isn’t any plot just slices of life which isn’t an issue, per se, i would just like to know more about his backstory and why he left the yakuza. i also could not for the life of me tell you what his name is. i think it was brought up once before he is continuously referred to as the immortal dragon or boss. i find it strange for this series to make his whole identity ex-yakuza without elaborating on it even a tiny bit.

i also don’t know if their marriage is legitimate or one of convenience. he cares about his wife, for sure. whether she feels the same or not isn’t clear. neither of them are openly affectionate with one another or touchy-feely so far. i hope theirs is a true love story just because it would add some
much needed substance to the story.

the artwork is amazing. i hated the stills they used for the anime so the manga is definitely how im hoping to devour this series. i can only hope that as i read more volumes, an enjoyable plot is added and we learn more about him.

all in all, a well deserved 3.75 stars
