This book was alright. I do love the quote I read in a tumblr post about them that said something along the lines of “the atlas six are whatever the opposite of a found family is” which is so right. I did enjoy the messiness but the plot was bogged down by the vague descriptions of whatever they were actually doing that whole year. Truly I do not know other than having weird sexual situationships with each other. The Ezra payoff also wasn’t that satisfying. But overall a decent and enjoyable read.

Love the dark academia setting but the book had so much potential that was unfulfilled.

I genuinely thought this book would be a 5 star review until I read the ending. It's not that I hated the ending, it's just that it was a lot of information dumped in the last few pages and took away from the emotional beats that had taken place.

I loved all the characters but Nico has to be my favorite (closely followed by Tristan and Libby). I will definitely be reading the next book!

1.75 ( and that’s generous )
It was…disappointing to say the least. The characters had so much potential, yet fell short, underdeveloped and boring. Most of them were recycled copies of “edgy” stereotypes and were somewhat 2D. The plot as an idea was great, though it wasn’t put into action the way it could’ve. It was dull, for the majority of the book. The last 25% or so when it gets interesting.
The ending was a cop out.

i got bored after the first 50 pages, but decided to see it through. after 385 pages of suffering, the last 5 pages culminated in one of the words endings i’ve ever read in a book. that’s not to say it wasn’t well written; the author seems incredibly talented. this book just did not do it for me.
