Great book!!! Read it in one sitting!!

This book is amazing! I read all of the books in the world, Modern Faerie Tales and the Darkest Part of the Forest, in preparation for the release of the Queen of Nothing. To see the progression in Holly's writing just elevates the beauty this book and series as a whole. The cameos are a treat to read and help solidify the side characters and their motives.

Beautiful. Enchanting. Dark and twisted. I was on the edge of my seat through the whole book. I could see every detail. This is how I always imagined faeries. This is how I've always imagined being taken away by the faeries would be like. I can't wait for more. And I can't wait to read it again.

I was very disappointed in this book. While it was a quick read - lots of action made it easy to keep going - I found it was lacking in substance. There was a distinct lack of character development, and the world the author’s created in this story seemed to be a randomly thrown together list of fey names.

I will definitely not be continuing with this series.
