This was a really informative book about celebrity culture through the years. It started with trying to define what a celebrity is; throughout the book, definitions are discussed further and challenged. Furthermore, it covered a wide variety of celebrities, from film stars to sport stars. I do wish that it had covered the topic of social media influencers a bit more.
