I was expecting a little bit more of the serial killer aspect of the novel to be incorporated more into the plot.
When I tell you the serial killer doesn’t bring up until around 74% of the book and even then it isn’t a lot.
I was doing good with the romance but as I hit the halfway point I was wondering when we were going to get serial killer, especially since we started with the surrokillers point of view.
Now the plot twist I kind of guessed. But I will say the conversation she has at the end of the book about Cynthia. We…know…who…did it right?! I’m not just the only person thinking this!!
I don’t know I feel sort of let down and also misled!
Another thing is the steam! There were moments or scenes like to say where fully steam. But a lot of them were fade to black!
